Privacy policy

Pondering Tree Pty Ltd (ACN 163 652 695) · Last updated [date]

This policy explains how Pondering Tree Pty Ltd ("we") handles personal information through PonderingTree.com, the Build Better card table and our coaching services. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles and the Spam Act 2003.

What we collect

Please don't put sensitive information about yourself or other people (for example health details) on sticky notes. The cards describe fictional people.

Why we collect it

Emails and unsubscribing

We only send marketing emails if you tick the opt-in box. Every email identifies us and has an unsubscribe link, which works straight away. Unsubscribing does not delete your account or your card table. You can also change your preference on your account page.

AI voice coaching

If you use AI voice coaching, you will always be told you are talking to an AI. The AI coach can see the cards on your table so it can guide the session. [Name the voice provider, what is recorded or transcribed, how long it is kept, and whether it is stored overseas, once a provider is chosen.] The AI coach is not a counsellor or a health professional. If you need urgent help, call 000, or Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We use service providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), [email service] and [voice-coaching provider]. Some of them may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what they need to provide their service.

Keeping it safe

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, sent only over encrypted connections, and your table is visible only to you once you're signed in.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email hello@ponderingtree.com to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account. We'll respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email us first and we'll try to put it right. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
